CLASSES
Group fitness is a great way to stay motivated, stick to a routine, and give you the added accountability from the coach and other members.
All group classes at Elite Island Fitness are led by a certified coaches, so you will have proper direction and focus on form from an expert throughout the entire workout.
Take the classes with your friends or meet new friends while working out! Join others and be encouraged to stay active and have fun in a motivating and social setting.
Freestyle Fitness
Freestyle Fitness is a full body workout that combines cardio and strength training exercises to build fitness and strength. The class includes high intensity exercise along with dynamic stretching, lifting weights and plyometrics. The workouts are geared to losing body fat, increasing cardiovascular efficiency and increasing strength. The group dynamic helps to motivate the participants as they exercise and socialize. Freestyle Fitness helps reduce high blood pressure, hypertension and stress as well as improves mental health due to the release of endorphins.
Bootcamp
Bootcamp is the perfect combination of group fitness and one-on-one personal training. Led by a certified trainer, this workout is out on the gym floor or turf area. Bootcamp will incorporate some cardio type movements of varying intensity along with lifting weights and other resistance training. The goal is to build muscle and also improve cardiovascular health all while learning how to use various equipment and machines on the gym floor to increase overall "gym confidence" in members. This is a fun and challenging complete workout under the guidance of a professional who will teach and correct proper form to prevent injuries.
Hiit It hard
Resistance with body weight and cardio in a sequence of explosive high interval intensity exercises.
Spin
Expect a mix of hill climbing, sprinting, standing, and flat rides, we will be changing pace and intensity. Music is a motivator!!! Ideal for all levels.
Zumba
Zumba is an interval workout. The dances move between high and low intensity to get your heartrate up and boost your calorie burn. Ideal for all levels.

Vinyasa Yoga
The word "vinyasa" can be translated as "arranging something in a special way", like yoga poses, for example, in vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Ideal for all levels.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is slow-paced style of yoga, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other yoga styles. Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body (tendons, fasciae and ligaments) through long, slow holds with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Appropriate for all levels.

This class is designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture with a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles. Followed by isolated stretches to specific muscles to improve and increase your range of motion around many of the joints of the body and increase your flexibility.

Barreless Barre
Barre is a "toning, body-weight-lifting workout,” It engages muscles you do not normally target—ones deep inside your body that squats, lunges and sit-ups don't reach. With high-reps and low-impact movements, barre challenges anyone looking to fine-tune their muscles—no ballet experience required.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a way to stretch and strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core, which span from your hips and shoulders.
We will incorporate props such as Bender balls and Magic Circle rings to challenge the muscles of the body, no tow workouts will be the same. Ideal for all levels
